Over the past 3 years Stiwdio Felin Fach has established a reputation for high quality acoustic and acoustic oriented recordings. Word has spread about this unique 18th Century which provides a special ambience for musicians who enjoy the challenge and creative possibilities of live studio performances. Many interesting musicians have produced wonderful music here
including Stefano Giaccone, Delyth Jenkins, Ffynnon, Taith, Joya, Robin Williamson and many more. The studio has also hosted a recording session by ECM records, without doubt the finest contemporary recording company in europe. More recently was the setting for The South Bank Show, who recorded a programme devoted to the work of Ian McMillan, featuring the Ian McMillan Orchestra.

The recording set up is based around Nuendo software and Yamaha 02R desk with a wide range of high quality microphones including a matched pair of AKG 414s. The studio has a beautiful Steinway Boudoir Grand piano which has found its way on to many recordings. There is also collapsible drum/percussion/vocal booth available if extra
isolation is required.
