Luke is an accordionist, composer and music educator. He has performed with the Central European folk group ‘Szapora!, and with London's radical contemporary jazz band ‘iO'. His folk duo ‘Fidaddle' has toured across Britain, and his work with the Carver Trio was broadcast in 2003 and live in 2004 on the award-winning Late Junction programme on radio 3, as well as on national radio stations on the continent.

His music has been played by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, international folk musicians Julie Murphy and Chris Wood, and by various theatre and dance companies. Some of his orchestral work was performed and broadcast as part of ‘BBC Music Live' in 2000.
In 2004 he was commissioned to write a children's musical with poet and broadcaster Ian McMillan. It was performed in July at the Sheffield Crucible. In the summer of 2005 Ian and Luke were
commissioned to write a large piece for male voice choir, brass quintet, and accordion.
He is in great demand as a composition and improvisation workshop leader across the UK, and currently works for the London Symphony Orchestra, at their educational base in St. Luke's. Find out more at LukeCarverGoss.co.uk
